Onward Search's client is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the growing team of an online gaming company! Your responsibilities revolve around developing and implementing new promotions programs for the site, as well as tracking and measuring their success. Additionally, you will seek out new marketing opportunities, work with vendors to find new opportunities and perform competitive analysis and report relevant findings.


  • Maintain company website, updating custom landing pages, forms, and content utilizing a basic understanding of WordPress.
  • Respond to questions and lead conversations on social channels; develop and disseminate standards for appropriate engagement with users.
  • Develop and build digital media campaigns.
  • Build and distribute e-mail marketing campaigns for a variety of engagement initiatives for existing user-base.
  • Create authentic, shareable content that tells brands story with personality and purpose.
  • Manage all social media efforts, produce varied content on a regular and consistent basis to continuously grow following across all social channels.
  • Perform research and build search campaigns with a focus on conversion and SEO ranking improvement.
  • Run A/B testing on ads, landing pages, and emails to optimize digital performance.
  • Build, manage and monitor reports; regularly communicating results and progress to leadership.
  • Collect and analyze trend identification and ROI optimization.
  • Use technology and insights to build reports, analyze data and drive business results.
  • Develop standard reporting tools (dashboards, etc.) to share performance of various KPIs and identify new KPIs relevant to our properties.


  • 2+ years' of experience in the Digital Marketing field.
  • Experience using Email Marketing Software (iPost, ExactTarget, Constant Contact, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, always meeting deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and/or experience using social media management platforms (such as HootSuite) a plus.


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
