Our client, a retail company, is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team for an ongoing contract position.

You will report to the VP of Marketing and be responsible for the following:

  • Creating a best-in-class direct to consumer experience to drive growth for each brand.
  • Managing and optimizing site merchandising and overall site experience.
  • Assisting in the creation and optimization of email lifecycles and workflows; driving engagement, retention, conversions, and lifetime value for the associated email campaigns.
  • Assisting with digital advertising on platforms including Google Ads, Facebook, Bing, etc.
  • Coordinating content of ad hoc marketing emails to support announcements, releases, special initiatives, etc.
  • Assisting in keeping projects/documentation up-to-date as directed by the Digital Marketing Manager (campaign briefs, weekly brand status reports, google annotations, etc.)
  • Reviewing projects in Asana and provide updates to cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Analyzing weekly reports for gaps, trends and recommendations for improvement.

We are seeking Digital Marketing Specialists who meet the following requirements:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Marketing, Business, etc.)
  • Experience working on an Ecommerce platform, Shopify preferred
  • Familiarity with Ecommerce best practices for both desktop and mobile shopping
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (models, statistics, pivots and power query)
  • Experience in Asana or other project manager platforms strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with GoogleDocs
  • Basic understanding of HTML & CSS preferred


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
