Onward Search has a new role in Memphis TN for a Digital Research and Optimization Lead to help define qualitative and quantitative testing standards and methodologies, and facilitate the application of these methodologies on individual testing efforts. Advises a cross-functional team of peers tasked with ensuring consistent adoption and implementation of testing standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading multi-divisional forums and other collaborative efforts across departments.
  • Setting and gaining alignment on fiscal year testing goals.
  • Communicating progress against goals to leadership.
  • Managing touch points and documentation for the team.
  • Ensuring goals are met and reported upon.
  • Collaborates heavily with peers on the Digital Experience team, along with advertising, marketing, product, and technical teams, to align on key goals, objectives, and solutions.
  • Uses rigorous qualitative and quantitative data to advise on testing and optimization opportunities, and monitors performance to inform future strategies and tactics by translating complex information into concise recommendations.
  • Works closely with internal teams to devise and optimize segmentation strategies, and identify high-value segments in each channel that might yield the most return on testing efforts.
  • Monitors test and derives vital insights to inform strategies that support business goals and audience needs.

Experience:

  • Requires minimum (5) five years of relevant work experience preferably on large, complex digital products, websites or equivalent, including experience in A/B testing, test design, testing programs, and analytics. User experience design, product design or usability experience a plus.
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Cognitive Science, Information Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience conducting user research including activities such as usability testing, online surveys, focus groups, user observation, and field analysis.
  • Understanding quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistical concepts.
  • Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and rapidly to change technology.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate recommendations to diverse audiences.
