Our client, a leading eCommerce marketplace, is looking for a Director of Performance Marketing to lead data-driven allocation and optimizations of spend across Paid Search, PLA, Paid Social, App, Video and Programmatic.

What you'll be doing:

  • Driving testing, bid strategies, targeting, analytics, and optimization of Performance investment to drive sales and deliver ROI.
  • Own the measurement and optimization of channel performance to deliver upon the business objectives and goals.
  • Report on media spend trends and forecasts on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis, evaluating for ROI performance, and ensure that results and recommendations are delivered to key senior leader stakeholders.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of the constantly evolving media landscape including channels, adtech, and emerging technology.
  • Partner with finance and analytics on attribution models.
  • Stay up to date on the future of the MarTech stack across partners and future opportunities.
  • Define and deliver the Performance Optimization vision across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other tasks may apply.

About you:

  • 10+ years of experience across paid performance channels (including push and pull) with a data driven optimization focus.
  • You bring a data-based, analytical thought leadership approach, and can put ideas into action to drive GMS and ROI.
  • Proven experience optimizing performance spends across channels with a data-driven approach.
  • Significant experience with MTA (multi-touch attribution models) and bidding them.
  • Experience with biddable channels including SEM and PLA. Bonus if you bring app and paid social optimization experience.
  • Experience leading audience and segmentation bidding (pixel or DMP).
  • Possess a strong grasp of privacy changes and implications across Google, Facebook, DSPs, etc.
  • Experience with MMP, DSPs, and DMPs.
  • Experience with statistical modeling, regression analysis, selection methods, etc.
  • Familiar with SQL, scripting/programming for data and modeling (R, Python).
  • Experience with Looker or Tableau for visualization.
