Onward Search is on the hunt for a Director of Social Marketing to join the team of clean beauty company. You will report to the CMO and will be responsible for building long-term strategies while developing a growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive multi-platform social strategy, designed to accomplish larger corporate objectives including social growth, engagement & conversion, influencer partnership opportunities, and subscription box programs
  • Using your deep knowledge of the social media influencer landscape, gain insight and understanding into influencer partnership deal structures and learn how to initiate and create effective partnerships and maintain authentic branded relationships
  • Manage the Social Media team to ensure effective platform performance as well as revenue growth, customer retention, brand awareness, engagement, and sales through social channels
  • Weekly and monthly reporting & analysis around talent activity and social media platforms, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Create programs and promotions to grow membership & engagement within the social media and community space
  • Oversee the relationship with PR agency through weekly calls and strategy sessions
  • Collaborate with Events leadership to execute influencer events
  • Procure and manage strategic non-profit partnerships, identifying opportunities to integrate social media & influencer partnerships and volunteer campaigns with non-profit partners
  • Keep on top of the latest trends and technology and integrate as apporpriate
  • Manage the Promotional Product Matrix and build strategies for future years in alignment with new product launches and other Marketing initiatives
  • Support in evergreen ad buying as needed
  • Area budget and planning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and team management
  • Expert understanding of social media monetization trends, practices, and industry needs
  • Prior experience driving engagement and conversion with the ability to speak to your process and results
  • Experience running A/B tests and performing audience segmentation
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in reporting, data management, and analytics
  • High proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and skilled in creating custom reports
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
  • Beauty/retail experience is highly preferred
  • Entrepreneurial, start-up experience is a plus
