Onward Search is looking for an Email Designer, you will support the production of our client's Marketing department’s monthly email newsletter. Responsible for the design and execution of responsive design. Ensure monthly email is completed accurately and on schedule without deployment hiccups; newsletter will be read by a wide variety of internal stakeholders including client executives – error-free deployments are a must.

Email designer should have an expert understanding of user experience, be innovative in their design approach, and a unique vision for how these can be applied. Will report directly to Corporate Marketing’s Marketing Manager, Social Media.

Skills:

  • Design and maintenance of monthly email newsletter.
  • Testing of new creative and functionality.
  • Work with Marketing team to produce high-quality, error-free newsletters.
  • Work with Marketing Manager, Social Media to develop performance reports to capture engagement metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Senior-level work experience in graphic, UX, and/or email design.
  • Expert experience coding HTML for email as well as HTML/CSS.
  • Create designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and emotionally engaging.
  • Strong knowledge of design fundamentals including typography, GIF animations, layout, and web specifications. Can easily adapt to the client's brand aesthetic.
  • Experience creating emails using responsive design, mobile-first design experience is a must.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to voice/explain design vision to variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work quickly and against tight deadlines with multiple approvers. Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and able to thrive in deadline driven environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze data to generate insights and implement concrete, actionable plans that drive performance increase. Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysis required.
  • Mastery of Cloud based and other similar email providers.
