Onward Search is a seeking a Email Marketing Coordinator to sit on site with a well known corporation located in Ft. Lauderdale. This will be a 3 month full time contract with the potential to extend. Our client is looking for someone with exceptionally strong technical, communication and organization skills.

The Contractor is responsible for day-to-day email execution supporting all companies stores and marketing campaigns. The Contractor will be responsible for designing, copywriting, coding, developing, proofing and executing highly-dynamic emails using an enterprise Email Service Provider (ESP) for email deployment. The Contractor may also be asked to assist with other, multi-channel campaigns, such as SMS, projects and tasks, etc. as well as various administrative to-dos needed by the Customer Marketing team.

Qualified candidates must have:

  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to pass HTML coding test prior to interviewing
  • Ability to work onsite at our Ft. Lauderdale headquarters during regular business hours
  • Ability to start as soon as possible
  • Must be driven by a need to be accurate

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with email template design, HTML coding, campaign creation, template maintenance, updates, proofing and execution
  • Build additional email marketing campaign workflows, as needed
  • Support optimization of existing email campaigns
  • Provide reporting on email activities
  • Execute branding and creative audits and updates as needed
  • Execute creative updates and redesigns as directed

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, design, HTML code, proof and execute email campaigns as directed
  • Ensure accurate tracking for all email campaigns so the team can measure success and optimize email campaigns over time
  • Support the technical build and improvement of email campaigns under the supervision of the team’s Email Marketing Specialists
  • Support Conceptualize and initiate tests (subject headers, email copy and creative, offers and landing pages) to continually improve key metrics (open, clicks, leads, conversions) across campaigns
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners to advance the sophistication of our email marketing program and trial new product/platform features and approaches
  • Assist with email list growth and acquisition efforts

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years email marketing experience
  • Demonstrated HTML coding and execution via best-in-class Email Service Provider tools, such as Harmony, CheetahMail, ExactTarget, Salesforce, etc.
  • Working knowledge of design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail for proofing and execution, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities thru completion
  • Strong Excel skills to build email reference tables for dynamic content mapping and reporting
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently on tasks as well as collaboratively with other team members
  • Highly productive and proactive with excellent time-management skills as demonstrated by delivering projects early or on-time
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with tagging and tracking mechanisms, including Google Analytics, pixels, etc.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in building customer lists via campaign automation tools, such as Adobe Campaign, Marketo, etc.
  • SQL skills for customer database queries
