Our client, an Entertainment Studio, is seeking a freelance Email Marketing Coordinator to join the team. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies to fill the role. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development of lifecycle and engagement email campaigns for an online retail e-commerce store.
  • Working to engage millions of members, working closely with some cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, Site and Creative to support the business.
  • Email campaign set up in ESP, list segmentation, list management, testing, proofing and monitoring of all email campaigns.
  • Develop operational efficiencies in current process.
  • Track and pull email reports to understand campaign effectiveness and optimize campaign results.
  • Provide recommendations and plans for revising email campaigns based on email analytics and findings, reviewing the calendar and messaging strategy with an analytical eye.
  • Optimize email programs through continual testing of creative, content, offers, targeting, etc. based on email findings.
  • Develop and execute email calendar as well as managing the email content planner.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on Email.
  • Candidate should have hands-on experience with Email Service Provider Platforms such as Responsys, CheetahMail, ExactTarget, Adobe preferred.
  • Basic HTML knowledge to troubleshoot email code.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to assess and inform recommendations on strategies/plans.
  • A team player with a positive can-do attitude with strong relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and prioritize time.
  • Comfortable working with team members at various levels.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and analytics dashboards a plus.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn.
  • Knowledgeable of eCommerce, cross-channel marketing, email best practices, technologies, trends, CAN-SPAM laws.
