Onward Search is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our prominent corporate client in Atlanta!

This is a W2 contract role expected to last for 6+ months and 40 hours/week are expected. Extension beyond 6 months is anticipated, and there is the potential for the position to convert into a perm role following the contract period as well. Benefits are available throughout the life of the engagement. This position can be based out of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Pensacola, FL; or Atlanta, GA. Other markets are also OK if the candidate is perfect. This will be 100% on site for the first few weeks. Following that initial period, 1-3 days remote are possible.

Job Summary:

  • Support the Execution Manager and Email Campaign team in the execution of residential email activity and volume.
  • Serve as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders while executing and driving shared initiatives.
  • Ensure the efficient coordination of email and all of our digital marketing initiatives.
  • Execute on email campaigns/programs such as sales-driving, education, notification, events and more in the residential segment.

Skills:

  • Support the email execution process by managing the email calendar, list management, and email delivery to prospects and current customers.
  • Complete email documentation such as link details, the point of contacts for creative, list pulls and more.
  • Manage email drop calendar, inputting details such as versions; quantity sent and email status; manage for upcoming email drops and carrying these out.
  • Serve as the email team expert in assigning, scheduling and shifting email sends with multiple boundary partners.
  • Partner with Contact Management, Strategy, and Creative teams to ensure data components are correct, troubleshooting data issues, version and program details, and other campaign components.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure email program effectiveness.
  • Work closely with external vendors to execute email programs and email delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a similar field.
  • 2-5 years of professional work experience with 2+ years specifically in online, sales, and marketing experience with a focus in email marketing/program management.
  • Strong sales/marketing relationship building skills required.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • An understanding of relational data and the ability to troubleshoot data files.
  • Excellent communication and people skills required.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Proven skills in managing both long and short-term projects.
  • Be able to execute on high volumes of email campaigns daily.
  • Work with and troubleshoot data files.
  • Strong project management, communication, and analytical thinking skills.
