eSports Player Coordinator

Our client, a video game company, is seeking an eSports Player Coordinator to join the team

PLAYER MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

The Player Management team is responsible for the pro player and staff experience at the Studio and on esports roadshows. Player Handlers serve as a primary liaison between General Managers, Team staff, Players, the Events team, and the Content team. The Player Management Coordinator will report directly to the Head of Competitive Operations, North America.

Player Handler Responsibilities:

• Oversee relationships with pro players and team staff on-site at the studios and at roadshows
• Communicate team needs and requests to the Events team and Content team.
• Distribute team credentials
• Communicate between team managers and general event staff whether or not teams will participate in Fan Meets
• Work with our broadcast team to coordinate Pro Player arrival and additional broadcast needs
• Communicate with our onsite security team regarding team staffing updates and changes
• Manage and coordinate team room assignments
• Track requests made by teams
• Document daily report record

• Ability to maintain a professional relationship with pro players and staff. 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Attention to detail and a desire to help where needed.
• Ability to maintain composure and remain level headed under pressure.
• Ability to work solo and as a part of a team.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift objects up to 30lbs.
• High school diploma/GED.

Desired Experience

• Esports experience working with team staff, and players at the university or professional level
