Our client, a social media content company, is on the hunt for an Event Operations Coordinator to join their team.

  • Assist with planning and development of special events that enrich our company culture as we scale
  • Partner with Internal Events team to support special event management, execution, and strike for small on-site events through large off-site productions
  • Work cross functionally to oversee and track event related contracts from initial vendor engagement to contract execution
  • Create, manage, and track payments for event spends through internal systems
  • Assist with budget tracking per event
  • Compile necessary insurance documents for events as required
  • Conduct research on venues, vendors & logistics as needed
  • Recommend and ensure best practices are in place related to guest services at special events
  • Maintain event RSVP lists and lead guest check-in process at small to large scale events

Musts:

  • 1-3 years overall working experience within the events industry
  • BA/BS in event management, hospitality, communications, or related field of study
  • Strong understanding of contractual agreements with vendors and venues
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • High enthusiasm, creativity, and resourcefulness, as well as a high level of professional integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and ever-changing priorities
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Fluent in Google Applications, Apple Applications, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to work hours outside a traditional work week
