Onward Search has a non-profit client with a need for an EVENTS COORDINATOR that plays a key role supporting the process and execution of their private events division. This role is responsible for executing the process, analyzing data, being a problem solver and communicating across the department and beyond. This role is a mix of coordination and analysis.


  • Support the manager of the department in all execution/analytic responsibilities
  • Manage the integration/data preparation within the CRM (Salesforce) in preparation for Private Events in Cvent
  • Act as the point person for collecting descriptions for private events from event leads – coordinating information, proofreading etc.
  • Create report and dashboard templates to be reused for specific events as needed
  • Troubleshoot any issues surfaced during campaign lifecycle - Provide opportunities to improve process, optimize CRM ( and nurturing process
  • Collaborate across multiple departments on details of Private Events - Communicate regularly and effectively with internal stakeholders regarding CRM, private events and results, including in team meetings and with the development and marketing teams
  • Ensure ongoing satisfaction of Private Events development and execution – partner across teams on consistency of data (event time, location, audience numbers, date etc.)
  • Provide onsite support for private session


  • 2-3 years relevant experience in customer service, project management or sales support
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Charts a must)
  • Experience with CRM triggers and process (specifically
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and deliverables simultaneously and on deadline
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • BS or equivalent preferred with a strong academic record (desired)


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
