Our client, a premium streaming content provider, is seeking a freelance Events Manager to join the Entertainment Event team.

You will be responsible to:

  • Working team of 5 on Content/Entertainment/Brand initiatives
  • Partnering with Sales, Brand, PR, and Content Marketing departments in creating events ranging from FYC, industry, sales initiatives, to internal events.
  • Manage events from inception to completion including but not limited to venue selection, agency management, internal approvals, guest list, food and beverage, security, budget, gifting, decor, red carpet, invites, and more.
  • Working with clear goals and support, but empowered to get things done on your own.

Musts:

  • 7-10 years experience in event management ideally with Award campaign event experience, Entertainment, and PR events experience in both LA and NYC
  • Experience partnering with internal team members and other departments as well as external vendors and agencies to get things done
  • Self started with strong attention to detail, comfortable in fast paced environment and able to manage multiple projects at any given time.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, ability to work collaboratively to drive projects to completion, and penchant for solving problems.
