Executive Assistant - Legal

Onward Search needs an Executive Administrative Assistant for a national financial institution.  

You’ll join the legal team to support executive admin needs.  

This is a 6 month contract opportunity with potential to extend. This is a hybrid position in Sterling VA or Newark DE. 

There is not an opportunity for remote work.

As an Executive Admin Assistant you’ll: 

• Support the c-level executives within the legal team for all administrative duties
• Schedule calendar appointments, lunch & learns, team meetings, events, travel, and more 
• Coordinate and support reporting needs, memos, expenses
• Efficiency in handling confidential communication, client information
• Utilize a high sense of professionalism and organization / attention to detail 

Skills & Experience needed:  

• 3+ years experience as an administrative assistant, preferable for c-level executives 
• Financial experience is highly preferred (or working with law firms, legal, investment, etc)
• Experience scheduling events, meetings both in person and virtually, and calendar 
• Experience with these tools: Concur, People Soft, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint 
• Well-versed in handling sensitive or confidential communications 
• Well-spoken, highly organized, self-motivated, able to meet deadlines 
• Notary license highly preferred
