Onward Search's client, a boutique experiential design firm, is seeking a promising, talented, and hungry designer to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Our client produces and designs over 1000 Chicago events each year for a variety of clients ranging from weddings to corporate events to set up for festivals and neighborhood festivities. They are seeking a talented designer who is looking to learn and grow in their career.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Design experience (internship is ok) working on everything from logos to displays to posters and collateral.
  • Ability to think on your feet and move quickly. This job runs at the speed of light!
  • Experience in 3D design or modeling.
  • Degree in design or related field.
  • Comfort and ability to be client facing.
  • Ability to flex a work schedule - this is NOT a 9-5 job and after hours and weekends are to be expected.

  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
