Our client, an experiential turned 360 agency, is seeking a mid-level Experiential/Rendering Designer with Google SketchUp experience to join their team on a permanent basis beginning with a brief freelance trial period. This role will start ASAP on-site in New York City.

Skills:

  • Create model environments (stores, events, etc.).
  • Partner with the department lead and graphic designer in campaign/event initial conception and design.
  • Take concepts and CAD models and design them in SketchUp.
  • Transition your design work to the live space by managing printers, discussing the production with builders/vendors, act as on-site steward to ensure event builds go as planned.
  • Requires travel to events in and outside of New York
  • Other tasks may be necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SketchUp 3D with examples in your portfolio.
  • Knowledge of CAD as you will be required to work with already developed files.
  • Have designed for and executed conceptual campaigns/designs.
  • Have managed the vendor set up of events, printers, etc.
  • You can travel to events in and outside of New York.
  • You have a well-designed portfolio demonstrating your past work.
