Financial Analyst

Local Firm in Raleigh NC area is seeking tax professionals with public accounting experience to join our firm in a full time role.

We are looking for professionals with at three least years of experience in public accounting to be an integral part of our 160+ person staff. We are looking for candidates who have their CPA certification. This is a public accounting position with reasonable hours expectations during busy season. Our CPAs work 60 hours or less per week with Sundays off even during the busiest times of the year. During the slower times of year we offer a 38 hour work week. (Really!)

The firm’s practice is well developed and has a wide range of clients within the areas of hospitality, real estate, non-profit agencies, low-income housing, manufacturing and construction.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate would have a range of experience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns
• Additional qualifications would include general accounting knowledge as well as experience with financial statement preparation
• Experience with multi-state returns would also be a valued asset for the firm
• Strong communication skills are required for managing and developing client relationships
• Experience using CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement trial balance software would be an asset to the candidate
