Job Description

Our client - a top corporation - is looking for a Social Media Community Manager to join their marketing team on a contract-to-hire basis at their offices in Broward County.

In this pivotal & highly-visible role, you will be tasked with managing content distribution for multiple client social media pages. Additionally, you will support the development and execution of both organic and paid social efforts across social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

To be successful here, you must possess excellent writing and editing skills, have a good eye for detail, with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.

The candidate will be expected to support a corporate culture that embraces innovation and industry leadership and have strong interpersonal skills.


  • Responsible for curation, deployment and analysis of social content distribution across numerous social media accounts.
  • Oversee execution of social media program’s development, execution and measurement plans.
  • Manage content calendar and as well as conceptualize tactics to increase following and audience participation.
  • Manage day to day relationships with vendors to continuously work to optimize the channel.
  • Monitor and respond to existing the social conversations.
  • Responsible for training the new field associates on the social publishing tool
  • Generate ad hoc reports, analyses and recommendations to optimize Reputation and Social metrics.


  • Minimum 2+ years working in a fast-paced + demanding ad agency or in-house corporate marketing environment in a social media specialist or community manager role.
  • Ability to work during normal business hours and be available evenings and weekends as needed to respond to social media comments and communications.
  • Proficiency with social publishing tools, web analytics, MS Office programs; strong Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and consistently deliver milestones on time and on budget.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and key stakeholders throughout the organization.
