Agency Public Relations Account Executive

Our client, a well-established PR firm in Broward County is looking for a sharp, creative Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to break into a great agency with top clients and brands.

This person will act as a generalist and take part in all areas of PR; media relations, influencer marketing, crisis management, social media, community outreach and more!

Responsibilities:

• Writing various forms of content; and pitching local, regional and national media
• Provide day-to-day client management and support; provide smart and creative counsel to clients
• Support development of strategic plans and new business
• Assist in developing strategy for social media campaigns, including research, content development, execution, monitoring/responding, reporting/measuring

Requirements:

• 3+ years of PR agency or ad agency account management experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in PR, Marketing or Communications highly preferred
• Prior experience working with clients in travel, real estate, retail, hospitality, food & beverage or non-profit a plus
• Ability to write effective copy for press releases, social media, and other PR channels
• Established media contacts and pitching experience a plus!
• Polished and persuasive writing skills
• Creative, energetic, ability to multi-task
