Our client, a boutique independent agency with a global footprint at the intersection of technology and experiential, is looking to hire an Account/Project Director to run their event/roadshow team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operate as the primary contact for clients the list of advisors on each project, driving all communication internally to the project team
  • Guide the team to deliver the project effectively and efficiently. Each project will be different and could include a team consisting of creative, digital, production, logistical parties, travel teams and roadshow vendors
  • Create each project budget from starting costs through to post-project reconciliation and the invoicing process with the finance team
  • Project schedules are yours to own from creation through to completion
  • Creative briefs will be written by you and you will be the lead in ensuring that once approved, they are adhered to by all aspects of the project
  • You will work with the agency’s in-house creative and marketing teams, your respective agency partners, to develop the digital and brand experience solution for event/roadshow meetings or investor events
  • You will coordinate design and development of the investor/roadshow presentation
  • You will provide clients with guidance/consulting on roadshow or event issues – this could include logistics through AV issues, presentation and design content
  • From time to time you will go with the client team on 2-3 week roadshows
  • Research and develop new business presentations for existing project to project clients, new clients which include banks and C-Suite executives which include proposals, budgets and presentations
  • You will have the opportunity to manage/work with a team of designers, logistics managers, other offices depending on the project
  • Maintain relationships with clients and investment bankers to develop business opportunities
  • Your goals are to develop solid client relationships, stay on top of industry news and trends, and contribute to the growth of your department

About you:

  • 8-15 years of experience in an account and client management position.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills - you'll be interfacing with C-Suite clients including CEO's, CFO's, CIO's, CMO's, IRO's, etc.
  • You can devote enthusiasm for both complex project management and logistical/administrative tasks.
  • You have significant prior experience in client services at an agency ideally in the financial space/investor relations.
  • You have lead development of corporate communications, digital content and video production projects from pre-production through post production.
  • You have worked in an event management capacity.
  • Previous knowledge / involvement in financial sector is huge.
  • You are good at communicating with great interpersonal skills.
  • Very motivated to work on projects with little guidance.
  • Must be excellently organized with an amazing ability to prioritize where needed.
  • Have enthusiasm, take initiative and can ‘think on your feet’
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure / handle stress very well
  • Can roll with short notice travel at times for shoots and events
  • Are up for working demanding hours in the office and at times on the road
  • Strong math, Excel skills and PowerPoint is a necessary skill
