Our client, a boutique independent agency with a global footprint at the intersection of technology and experiential is looking to hire a Account / Project Manager to run their event/roadshow team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting delivery of projects which include pre- and post-production for corporate films, digital roadshow videos, and presentation design and development projects
  • Building management-level and junior client relationships, create and maintain a deep understanding for the client’s business and goals
  • You will understand the larger goals of the client and the company to implement processes that support these goals strategically and fiscally
  • Connecting internal teams and keep them up to date on objectives, deliverables and timeline.
  • Help to support the creative team to create excellent work that is on time and on budget.
  • Supporting the preparation of detailed budgets for project
  • Partner with finance to manage the budgets and payments of vendors and with production
  • Make sure that documentation is clear and concise, and is shared and filed as needed
  • Make sure that each project/program aligns to the agency’s process, help develop creative briefs to brief creative and production teams
  • Create timelines and help to identify resources required with the team
  • Actively monitor the client’s competitive space and distribute learnings to the team
  • Plan and deliver on events that the team is running
  • Support the production team to source and book venues events or group presentations, catering, staff, etc that are needed ensure event success
  • From time to time you will go with the client team on 2-3 week roadshows.
  • During roadshows, depending on what the project calls for and the team structure:
    • You could be the main person organizing, trouble-shooting, and ensuring that everything is ready for the clients to arrive. This will include being the on-site contact at overnight accommodation and group meetings. Or,
    • You will travel with the clients as they attend meetings, manage materials and logistics in real time
    • Oversee the production of event materials and roadshows, as well as, the distribution of external documents as provided by clients
    • Reserve cars (chauffeur driven) in each city throughout the event - there is a preferred vendor for this
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for pitching for new business
  • Own and maintain pitch templates, case studies and creation of pitch documents
  • Research new business opportunities
  • Seek opportunities for organic growth within existing clients
  • Help with archiving digital assets, filing, contract templates and contracts
  • Your goals are to develop solid client relationships, stay on top of industry news and trends, and contribute to the growth of your department

About you:

  • 6-8 years of experience in an account and client management position
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills - you'll be interfacing with C-Suite clients including CEO's, CFO's, CIO's, CMO's, IRO's, etc.
  • You can devote enthusiasm for both complex project management and logistical/administrative tasks
  • You have significant prior experience in client services at an agency ideally in the financial space/investor relations
  • You have lead development of corporate communications, digital content and video production projects from pre-production through post production.
  • You have worked in an event management capacity.
  • Previous knowledge / involvement in financial sector is huge.
  • You are good at communicating with great interpersonal skills
  • Very motivated to work on projects with little guidance.
  • Must be excellently organized with an amazing ability to prioritize where needed.
  • Have enthusiasm, take initiative and can ‘think on your feet’
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure / handle stress very well
  • Can roll with short notice travel at times for shoots and events
  • Are up for working demanding hours in the office and at times on the road
  • Strong math, Excel skills and PowerPoint is a necessary sill
