Our client, a large music and live entertainment promoter, is in need of a freelance Digital Marketing Account Manager to join their internal Agency team on a freelance basis for a nine-month maternity leave cover. This role will begin ASAP, on-site in New York City.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our clients in the sports space.
  • You will provide strategic guidance and recommendations for our clients across all solutions we provide and do so with amazing customer service.
  • Partner with your colleagues across business development, marketing and internal operations to deliver for your clients.
  • You will build deep relationships with your clients by managing their expectations and ensuring clear communication of deliverables with your team.
  • You will combine your knowledge of our clients' businesses with understanding of our company's products and services in order to deliver amazing digital marketing solutions.
  • Provide great service to retain and help grow your clients' business.
  • You will effectively be our agency's expert on your clients - you must know and truly understand their business challenges/opportunities, how to navigate their team to achieve results and be able to determine which services of ours will suit their needs best.
  • You will ensure clean execution of our digital marketing campaigns, analytics projects and additional initiatives.
  • You will have a high-level of understanding surrounding ticketing data & ticketing software.
  • Take data and translate into insights for our team to turn into campaign action.
  • Drive strong communication between clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring no lapses in communication.
  • You will lead calls and meetings with clients.
  • Help our clients effectively use our products and services which includes reporting and segmentation.
  • Help with copywriting, some image re-sizing as needed and similar marketing campaign related tasks.
  • Maintain a personal and professional interest in live entertainment trends and industry knowledge.

About you:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or related field.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role ideally in a similar industry.
  • You understand the business side of sports and entertainment.
  • You have strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • You must be able to manage multiple projects across many clients at any one time.
  • You can demonstrate your understanding of digital media platforms, with expertise in SEM, programmatic display and paid social.
  • You can interactive with clients and team members across all levels in a professional and respectful way.
  • You are a problem solver, have great organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
