Our client, a beauty service and retailer is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join their team on a part-time basis beginning with a four-week period with the possibility to extend. This role starts immediately on-site in Manhattan.

Skills:

  • Designing and producing digital assets for ongoing marketing programs - including but not limited to banner ads, email templates, social media, print ads, cropping, app and site design splices.
  • Designing a variety of promotional material for both B2C and B2B marketing use (signage, leave-behinds, promotional giveaway items, branded apparel, etc. ) - with the ability to work directly with vendors to manage timelines and see projects through to production.
  • Being a brand steward by maintaining visual guidelines and enhancing our visual presence across marketing executions both online and off.
  • May perform other design duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (fine arts, graphic arts, mass communication, etc.).
  • 2-3 years design experience with working on both online and offline assets.
  • Good communication and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work well independently or collaboratively.
  • Well-versed in design software including Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and as a plus, After Effects.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS a huge plus.
  • Experience working with a variety of production vendors.
  • You can bring your own computer to this job.
