National non-profit organization is looking to hire a freelance, part-time Media Strategist with an interest in the LGBT space to join the team as soon as possible, and run point on media buys for various platforms. This would be an ongoing need, and candidates would be expected to commit to approx 10 hours a week mostly remote. Candidates must be in the NYC area for meetings.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 4+ years experience
  • Experience with research, strategy and negotiation related to ad sponsorship buys across media platforms
  • Strong understanding and ability to make recommendations for newer media outlets (YouTube Influencers, Podcasts, Events, etc.)
  • Interest in challenge of finding non-traditional media partnerships and opportunities
  • Ability to find appropriate contacts and pricing for platforms in consideration
  • Interest/passion for LGBT rights
  • Detail oriented problem solver
