Our client, a retail consulting firm has an immediate need for a freelance project manager. This role sits onsite in NYC and is scheduled to last for 2+ months.

You will be stepping in to an established project management process. You will be working on a project that is already in motion, and will work with the team to ensure timely delivery. The project is a website design and build. The website will support a subscription based business model. You will be working with internal stakeholders up to the C-Suite, as well as offshore development teams. It will be your job to manage the development milestones to ensure timelines and budgets are adhered to.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Project management for large scale website builds - design, content generation, development (front end and back end), and QA
  • Experience working with external offshore development teams
  • Strong understanding of the capabilities and limitations of content management systems
  • Manage workflows to incorporate stakeholder feedback with specific development milestones
  • Identify potential risks, and escalate appropriately
  • Create/manage project plans, status reports, and daily project meetings
  • 2+ years Project Management experience
