Our client, a small, independent full-service advertising agency is searching for a Social Media professional to join their team on a temp to permanent basis. This role will start onsite in NYC ASAP!

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with a fast-paced integrated team inclusive of creative, media and social media to develop custom content for our brands
  • Research industry trends to help the team develop engaging content
  • Drive innovation and grow traffic for relative social channels
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of content and social community management, editorial calendars and media/analyst databases
  • Bring innovative content ideas and creative ideas to the table, proposing social testing and learning concepts to new and existing creative briefs
  • Build strong relationships with photographers, bloggers and copywriters
  • Manage the daily process and execution of all social media programs which can include Influencer and engagement programs, contests and sweepstakes
  • Aim to build and grow our clients' brands social media presence, assist with implementing the overall social strategy
  • Monitor social conversations across all platforms
  • Provide customer service questions and create action driven insights/report for client and agency teams
  • Develop content, drive conversations, manage metrics/measurements and identify opportunities for community growth
  • Stay current of all social media tools and trends
  • Provide your POV on new technology and marketing opportunities
  • Help with traditional ad content trafficking and partnership with the media team
  • Manage timelines and project life cycles, and ensure deadlines have been met

About you:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing social media platforms for clients
  • Bachelor’s degree a must, ideally in Marketing/Advertising
  • Excellent presenting skills
  • You can run client meetings independently
  • You can concept, develop, and present ideas to clients in a polished manner
  • Can speak to your success developing engaging content/your process
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Extremely strong writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet research
  • You are self-motivated, creative, confident and have a strong work ethic
