A NYC based agency is seeking a temp to perm Sr. Social Media Manager to lead key accounts. If you have experience significantly growing a brand’s social media presence based on specific KPI’s we’d like to talk. If your left brain is comfortable with Strategy, Data & Analytics and your right brain crafts creative that stops users in their tracks, we’d really like to talk.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the strategy, client sell in and execution across multiple social platforms (IG is most important but FB, TW and Pinterest also)
  • Align content strategy, pillars and buckets with brand strategy to ensure Brand consistency and growth
  • Craft copy that is pointed yet creative and nuanced in order to emotionally connect user to the content
  • Craft copy in multiple brand voices and tones across accounts
  • Maintain daily community management to grow accounts and oversee VMG social team day-to-day
  • Oversee editorial calendar development, content creation (designers/animators) and production (photographers/videographers)
  • Access a network of social first content creators
  • Ensure KPI’s are on track
  • Identify, execute and manage influencer and ambassador programs. Track and monitor success.
  • Continuously grow social engagement
  • Plan, track and optimize paid media initiatives
  • Instill confidence in the client that their account is being powerfully lead while listening and distilling their concerns to the team

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of growing a business
  • The ability to inspire and lead a team, managing direct reports, freelancers and other social staff
  • 4-6 years experience at a social media agency, ideally with multiple/diverse specialties
  • Calm under pressure and able to flourish in a fast-paced, highly responsive environment
  • Extraordinary written and communication skills
  • An interest in health/wellness, beauty/fashion and lifestyle
  • Proven themselves to be a self starter and solution provider
  • An innate attention to detail
  • Established systems and processes for managing workflow and teams
  • The ability to thrive wearing many hats in a fast paced, growing environment
  • A desire to grow with an organization
