Onward Search needs a Freelance Visual Merchandising Designer for a global beauty brand in NYC. 

This is an ongoing contract role (full-time hours) opportunity. 

This is a HYBRID opportunity in New York City (onsite in the office 2-3 days).

As a Freelance Visual Merchandising Designer, you’ll: 

- Create immersive consumer experiences from events, in store animations to window designs and store fixture elements. 

• Concept and execute new in-store experiences, fixtures, and merchandising displays in existing retail and brand-new doors.

• Conceptualize and design dimensional displays through hand sketching, references, building in RENDERING 3D (Rhino +Keyshot, Sketchup + SolidWorks+ Adobe Creative Suite)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years’ experience working in beauty or fashion; in visual merchandising or industrial design and store planning,
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and self-management skills
• Strong understanding for all elements of 3D merchandising
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to meet deadlines daily and multi-task in a very fast paced environment.
• Detail oriented and strong understanding of brand code/color/materials.
• MANDATORY Experience with 2D and 3D software.
• Strong presentation skill to senior leadership
