We are looking to bring on a strong Front-End Developer who will responsible for building out our Design System POC. Included in the build will be the development of common component code snippets, in addition to the actual build of the system website. This is a great opportunity to work with a great team.

The Role:

  • 5-7yrs experience crafting production-ready front-end code
  • Good understanding of inter-browser/platform quirks and how to resolve them
  • Understanding of (and perhaps experience with) atomic methodology
  • Has experience in a senior dev position
  • Comfortable mentoring more junior team members
  • Experience developing, or contributing to the development of, enterprise design systems (specific experience with Fractal or Storybook strongly preferred)
  • Good understanding of the classical design process, and how FE dev complements it
  • Aware of industry design patterns, keeps current with trends and technology
  • Experience working closely with designers, providing technical feedback on designs
  • Ability to prototype interactions quickly in code
  • Ability to communicate complex information succinctly, in both written and verbal form
  • Able to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously


  • HTML5, emphasizing semantic markup
  • CSS3 expert knowledge (emphasis on layout)
  • Familiarity with Web Components (both spec-based and framework-assisted, a la React) a huge plus
  • Comfortable with compiled CSS (SCSS preferred)
  • JavaScript/jQuery/ECMAScript 6 (preferred)
  • Some SPA Framework experience (Angular preferred)
  • Design systems frameworks (Fractal, Storybook and/or similar)
