Our client, a small agency headquartered in idyllic Wisconsin Dells, WI, is seeking a Front End Developer to join their team.


  • Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes or mockups to actual code that will produce visual elements of the design.
  • Collaborate with the designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
  • Participate in an active role on both sides and to help define how the result looks as well as how it works.
  • Create website front-end interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.


  • Bachelor's degree and at 2 + years of experience in web, programming, online publishing or related field.
  • Proficiency in: PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/JQuery.
  • Previous experience working in older HTML is a bonus.
  • Thorough knowledge of WordPress, WordPress theme development, WordPress Plugins implementation, and customization.
  • Twig.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of SASS and LESS.
  • Working knowledge of GULP and terminal commands.
  • Understanding of site architecture.
  • Knowledge of responsive web development, mobile optimized web design, user interface design and development for mobile.
  • Experience working in a MAC environment.

  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
