Onward Search needs a Front End Software Engineer (React) for a Fortune 500 global e-commerce client with millions of customers.  With the end goal of delivering innovative digital products for their customers, my client’s company culture is based on accountability, work/life balance, open collaboration/knowledge sharing, mentoring/coaching –- and of course having fun along the way, celebrating successes, big and small!
  
This is a 6-month assignment + extension. On-site in San Jose 2 days/week.

As a Front End Software Engineer  you’ll: 

• Developing and implementing UI for software applications (React)
• Developing software components and unit tests
• Implementing new features based on business requirements
• Collaborating with a team of developers and product managers
• Developing and maintaining quality software product code
• Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software
• Building scalable software solutions
• Assisting in enhancing existing software components and adding new features

Skills & Experience Needed:  

• 5+ years of hands-on in Java
• 3+ years React, Testing Frameworks, Kotlin, any database type (relational or non-relational) 
• Spring Framework, SOA architecture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
