Our San Diego client is looking for a Front-End Web Developer who can combine design and programming. The focus of the role is collaborating on high-fidelity prototypes and translating them to actual code that is modern, elegant and responsive. This role will work closely with UX designers, visual designers and web developers on global projects that evolve a growing marketing site and e-commerce channel.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Able to recognize and implement reusable JS code that is sharable across multiple applications.
  • Must be a great collaborator and effective communicator.
  • Prefer a designer who can code for active channels.
  • Savvy with JavaScript and Design skills.
  • Fundamental HTML and CSS knowledge.
  • Capable of creating layouts and templates that focus on User Experience.
  • Implementing cookie code for analytics and dynamic content purposes.
  • Contribute design and provide advice on projects, making recommendations for improving website performance.
  • Follow company brand guidelines.
  • Recommend and implement scalable code solutions to be used across functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

Great Extra Skills:

  • Experience with CSS Frameworks (i.e., Foundation, Bootstrap).
  • Experience with JS Frameworks (i.e., Vue.js, Angular, React).
  • Experience in developing and applying patterns.
  • Previous experience with versioning (i.e., GIT).
  • Bachelor's (preferred).
