Onward Search has a client north of LA that is seeking a FRONT END DEVELOPER to work as part of the creative digital team to develop online and mobile advertising products for a range of clients.


  • Develop online advertising campaign materials, primarily HTML5 rich media and microsites
  • Properly execute design briefs within established timeline
  • Use rich media serving platforms effectively
  • Ensure work is exact and free of errors by thoroughly QCing before handover
  • Ensure that all work produced is to a high standard and within brand guidelines and specifications
  • Accurately track time


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3-7 years proven experience in Front End/web development
  • Working knowledge of JS/JQuery/AJAX
  • Proven experience in Canvas, HTML5, CSS3, CSS Transitions/Animations and responsive/adaptive development
  • Knowledge of MySQL, Apache
  • Proven ability to write standards-compliant code, understand cross-browser/platform compatibility and be able to test accordingly
  • 2 years’ experience with CSS preprocessors and with code lifecycles and repositories
  • Fluent in one or more CMSs
  • Ability to develop reusable code libraries
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with rich media ad-serving platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Committed to a great user experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Pharma experience preferred (healthcare helpful)
