Our client, a children's entertainment company, is seeking a freelance Gaming Marketing Coordinator to join the Digital Marketing team.

You will report to the VP Digital Marketing and be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the marketing strategy for a new mobile gaming titles on all digital and physical platforms.
  • Work directly with the game studio and brand to drive go-to-market launch and growth plans for the IP.
  • Act as the single coordinator of the overall marketing plan for the gaming titles responsible for driving execution of the plan by collaborating with game studio, brand, distributor, publisher and central teams.
  • Planning and executing game launches in any platform and ongoing promotions
  • Take ownership of coordinating and planning all aspects of marketing ranging from PR to social to community to events to paid user acquisition
  • Main contact for international countries and international assets management and strategy.
  • Manage and grow the relationship with Distributors, Apple, Amazon and Google Stores
  • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, and outbound marketing plans
  • Partner with research and analytics teams to gain customer insights that inform game development
  • All Assets management among all parties, including approvals
  • Regularly coordinate prensentation for go-to-market and growth strategies and success metrix for company leadership

Musts:

  • 2-4 years of relevant product marketing experience having launched a mobile app before, preferably kids and/or gaming app
  • Experience working with consumer brands, preferably mobile and console games in the RPG genre
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office working in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Strong project management skillset
  • Switch Console experience a plus
  • Deep knowledge of digital measurement strategies and tools
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines
  • Self-starter and experience managing cross-functional programs
  • Ability to present and earn buy-in for projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Min 2 years of related advertising and/or marketing experience
  • Effective communication skills: ability to ask probing questions, listening to learn and reading/adjusting communication approach based on the audience and situation
  • Ability to manage details and competing priorities
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
