Our client is searching for a fulltime Global Pricing Strategist!
Global Pricing Strategist Responsibilities:
Conducting ongoing pricing analysis of the company’s product assortment including private label, white label and retailer exclusive products
Developing and executing a comprehensive strategic plan for the profitable management of pricing, gross margin and cost
Maintaining an awareness of trends in the industry and related industries, developing a deep understanding of the end user in order to incorporate these into effective pricing strategies for existing products, new product launches and new retailer partnerships
Conduct market research for global product distribution, determining competitive pricing strategy for global marketing and the unique retail partners therein
Partnering with various departments (Marketing, Operations, Inventory, Global Sourcing, Quality, E-commerce, IT and Finance) to ensure pricing strategy is incorporated into all strategic development
Developing and executing pricing strategy for all promotional pricing activities
Conducting margin analysis – including effect of price, volume, discounts, mix, etc.
Additional duties as required
Global Pricing Strategist Requirements:
BA/MBA in economics, statistics, finance, data science, business or relevant field
6+ years of experience in Revenue Management/Pricing
2+ years of experience with Global Pricing Strategy
Ability to translate complex, data-intense analytics into actionable recommendations
Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience using BI/analytics software to inform pricing rationale
Experience working effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Excellent analytical and modeling capabilities, including experience collecting, analyzing and gathering insights from very large data sets
