Our client, a creative experiential agency, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their team. You will be developing projects and collaborate with team members to bring the best innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring an array of design knowledge and life experience to every problem and deliver solutions that are on-brief, innovative, surpass expectation and are on a budget.
  • Take ownership over projects and collaborate with other key team members including Copywriters, Designers, Creative Directors, Account Managers/Directors, and Social Strategists to bring the best creative solutions.
  • Able to understand briefs and ask essential questions in a timely and respectful manner.
  • The concept with the Creative Team including but not limited to Copy Writer, Designers, and Creative Directors.
  • Sketch rough comp ideas to present to Associate Creative Director or Executive Creative Director for input/ feedback.
  • Work in intuitive conception mode for first round rough comps staying open, fresh, flexible and agile.
  • Electronic preparation of concepts for presentation to Client File format and specifics as directed by ACD or Project Manager.
  • Modify creative as per ACD, ECD, Account Director, PM or Client.
  • Pass-off final layouts, assets, and concepts to Electronic Production (ePro) for digital mechanical file prep ensuring brief is clear and understandable way giving feedback to ePro as needed.
  • Flexibility in sharing, passing off projects with the team as well as the ability to take-on inherited projects if flow in the shop requires.
  • Maintain a masterful knowledge of the Client’s Brand positioning and their consumer and/or audience.
  • Work to truly understand the consumer regarding what motivates them, what are their passions and desires, how do we connect with them.
  • Work with Studio Manager on overall timings and deadlines as well as PMs to generate estimates for the time needed on phases of projects.
  • Communicate early if there are potential issues or barriers to the success of a project
  • Present work with genuine excitement and conviction.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience preferably in an experiential agency setting.
  • Portfolio showcasing experiential projects including environmental and event build outs, retail installations, digital and print multimedia.
  • Full understanding of entire Creative Suite and ability to stay up-to-date on all changes, shifts, and improvements in software.
  • Desire and drive to learn whatever skill sets are needed to complete a job and/or partner with experts from other disciplines including event design, digital design, lm/video, music generation, printing and build-out, photographers, etc.
  • Personal time management and ability to self-start.
  • Experience with client presentations comfortable selling the idea through and build client confidence.
  • Ability to take feedback with a positive attitude and looking at all feedback as a way to make the work better.
  • Seeking candidates who have a true entrepreneurial spirit and thrive on change and evolution both personally and professionally.
  • Interest in travel for work both in continental US and Internationally.
  • Should know contemporary and history of design and art staying current on industry trends and technology.
