Graphic Designer (Print, Large Format, Signage)

Onward Search is looking for a Graphic Designer to work a contract role in the Southern Part of Wisconsin (approx 45 mins south of the city.) This is a hybrid role which will require some onsite, especially for onboarding and ramp up. 

This is a position that would work on design for large format printing, signage, POP, trade shows, etc. Ideal candidate has a portfolio of published work that shows this type of work. If you have worked for large of Fortune 500 Brands, that is preferred,

Responsibilities

• Create compelling and effective designs for national retail stores with print, signs, large format designs, etc. 
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, competitive landscape and market trends
• Create and prepare files for printing including understanding details spec and understanding of hi-res files 
• Maintain client brand guidelines and style guides
• Work and communicate accurately and proactively with Creative Director under tight deadlines and maintain or communicate with vendors as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 2-10 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite,(especially Illustrator and Photoshop), Printing, large format printing, hi-res files, specs to printers, etc. 
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Portfolio of published design work, preferably for large brands
