Onward Search is on the hunt for a Style Guide Designer to join our corporate client for an offsite freelance gig that starts within the next week.

This is a project-based offsite role, but you must be available during the day for client communication, feedback etc.

You will report to the Creative Director, and be responsible for creating corporate style guides from scratch.

You'll work from existing assets, organize, gather, and write the brand guidelines.

You may have to step in to make adjustments to existing designs.

We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Must have experience designing style guides and there is a preference for candidates who can show style guides they've designed
  • Prefer candidates who have strong layout and a designer's eye
  • Must be detail-oriented, and have strong client communication
  • It's a plus if you have experience working with Frontify, but it's not an absolute if you don't have experience with this


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
