We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our client's team located near Hartford, Conneticut. In this role, you will produce high quality print projects ensuring delivery of quality, creative and error-free products.
Prepare a variety of high-quality, creative deliverables for internal Associates following established design best practices and established proofreading procedures
Create customized communication materials for external Clients.
Communicate project status and deadlines to supervisor as needed to ensure personal and department goals are met or exceeded.
Complete special projects as assigned and serve as a resource to team members for creative ideas and technical software issues or questions
The successful candidate will possess:
3+ years experience in graphic design, previous experience in magazines or publishing is a plus
Working and demonstrated knowledge Adobe Creative Suite – specifically InDesign
Ability to work short-notice overtime hours on an as-needed basis
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, structured environment
Ability to exercise independent judgment in interpreting instructions and suggest changes to author as needed to produce a quality document
