Our client, a category-leading haircare brand, is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team!
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
Conceptualizing packaging and Merchandising designs.
Conceptualizing and implementing design solutions that meet marketing and sales strategies.
Designing and producing marketing and sales communication pieces (print and digital) - including bi-monthly promotions, trade publication advertisements, special event collateral, signage, presale proposals and other materials as needed.
Assisting Sales, Operations and Education departments on necessary projects (PowerPoint slide decks, custom shipper labels, class flyers, posters, etc..).
Designing web components (advertisements, banner ads, social media skins, blasts, etc..).
Managing the production of all print pieces from concept to pre-press.
Creating/maintaining a file structure organizational system for the design department (local server, Dropbox, hightail, etc..).
Partnering with outside videos on image creation (production imagery standardization, promo cycle imagery, retouching, etc..).
Maintaining brand guideline consistency in all work.
Attending offsite photo/video shoots (SoCal).
Staying current on industry trends and best practices.
Graphic Designer Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Highly proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
3-4 years of professional graphic design experience.
Portfolio showcasing design proficiency in both print and digital.
Experience designing for luxury clientele (beauty industry preferred).
Ability to prioritize tasks, working efficiently and accurately to meet all deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency with AfterEffects a plus!
