Our client is seeking a Group Account Director to join the team. You will report to the COO


  • Manage all aspects of the client business providing superior customer service while maximizing business opportunities
  • Drive Results on Accounts and Pitches
  • Track Status of Pitches/Jobs, ensuring they will deliver expected results
  • Responsible for meeting agency and client KPI’s
  • Establish and grow a strong relationship with multiple senior client stakeholders through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the application to business challenges
  • Steward relationship with outside agency partners (creative, PR, promotion, etc.)
  • Work with analytic partners to gauge media performance and KPI’s to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team ensuring all team members are informed of the expectations and communications from client
  • Lead client planning process in Facilitator role
  • Understand client compensation structure and implications of plan changes
  • Proactively keep abreast of industry trends and share knowledge with team
  • Work closely with client direct report to optimize any revenue opportunities for the agency at large

Must Haves:

  • 7+ years of related industry experience, preferably within a consumer branding marketing agency
  • Savvy client counseling skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically to influence and sell ideas and solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects / accounts effectively
  • Ability to cultivate business relationships to develop existing and new business
  • Excellent communication skills with highly organized multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Sound judgment and interpersonal skills
