The Growth Marketing Specialist will be responsible for media planning and buying for different campaigns. Occasionally will also execute TechCrunch and other campaigns as needed.

  • In this position, you will own media campaign strategy and management of the priority Subscriptions vertical
  • You will have the opportunity to develop test & learn strategies and deploy media investments in off-net channels to deepen our understanding of successful campaign tactics with a focus on scaling for growth.
  • You will get to lead media plans across the network, which includes using data to develop high propensity targets among existing/engaged users to engage, cross-sell and maximize user retention.
  • You will be responsible for reporting and presenting on various aspects of the marketing campaigns you manage to internal stakeholders
  • You will work closely with Analytics and Marketing Tech counterparts to ensure data quality
  • You will get to partner with internal product teams to understand paid product roadmaps to align campaign calendar and optimizations
  • The position requires an individual with a strong balance of strategic and tactical know-how, and who can manage a high volume of day-to-day responsibilities and tasks to drive successful execution of campaigns. The position requires coordination with internal stakeholders, senior-level executives, and external agencies and vendors. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, passionate, and incredibly talented cross-functional team.

The ideal candidate is:

  • A team player and avid learner who is eager to work on all facets of campaign management
  • Well versed in various components of the Marketing Tech Stack, and has experience with data storage, data privacy, and data deployment in consumer-facing applications
  • Uses data-driven insights to build long-term growth programs
  • Well-versed in optimization as a practice, including developing and implementing effective tests, as well as clearly documenting and presenting findings to internal stakeholders
  • Experienced with budget management, between channels and campaigns based on performance KPIs
