Head of Engineering (AAA FPS)

Our client, a game studio with an impactful IP is looking for a Director of Engineering.

Day to Day:

• Spending 30-50% of their time in code maintaining proficiency, maintenance, and evaluation
• Oversee all technical aspects of our games
• Define, estimate and prioritize tasks, balance risks, coordinate resources, and review deliverables
• Managing the efforts of the engineering team to deliver on schedule
• Working closely with Design and Art divisions to create innovative tech and gameplay mechanics
• Hire, mentor, and manage the engineering team. 50% coding, 50% managing wanted
• 10+ years of experience

• 2 shipped games under their belt that are FPS or TPA
• 4+ years managing an engineering team
• Love for action FPS games

Pay: $180,000 - $225,000 yearly
