Our client, a technology sports company, is seeking a Head of UX Strategy (Director level) to join their team. You will head up leadership responsibilities to help support and evangelize the larger UX group across the company and a vital part of the UX group’s leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentorship and development of the UX Strategy team of up to 10 people.
  • Present to, interact with, and influence senior executives 1-2 times per week.
  • Ensure UX Strategists are identifying synergies between products and across divisions that can lead to new product ideas or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with peers and the Agile Coaching team to analyze our existing UX processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the Head of Design to deliver a comprehensive Design System.
  • Partner with the User Research Manager to set up a research roadmap to support strategy.
  • Helping to champion and educate product owners and leaders about the role of UX strategy as part of the UX group’s broader process.
  • Advancing global standards and best practices for UX strategy.
  • Relentlessly seeking opportunities to create improvements and better alignment across our products for our users.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in UX strategy, including at least 3+ in a leadership role ideally in a B2B global user-centric capacity.
  • Proven record of leading user-centered design teams for projects aimed at global audiences.
  • Understanding of Agile development processes along with previous experience in delivering complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of building and improving high-quality digital products.
  • Strong experience advocating for and using user research in the product development process.
  • Ability to support 10% international travel.
  • Comfortable in a happy and casual environment, with processes in place but open to making a mark on the company's future products.
