Our client, a top beauty company, is looking to hire an Influencer Manager for a temp-to-perm opportunity. This person will be responsible for their paid and earned influencer program. This role will be primarily focused on partnerships, strategy and relationships with influencers, Professional Stylists, ambassadors, bloggers and creators. This position will lead the development and execution of strategies to engage and leverage influencers across digital platforms to turn them into passionate brand advocates, with the goal of converting the influencers audiences into customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations for brand influencer programs and relationships.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to execute a digital influencer strategy for launch and always-on brand activities, including but not limited to strategic seeding, paid content and partnerships, meet-ups and visits.
  • Project manage organic and paid programs to ensure plans are on-time, within budget, and in alignment with brand marketing priorities.
  • Manage master talent and mailing list, strengthening existing relationships, reaching out to up-and-coming talent, updating and optimizing network in real-time. Constantly comb through brand social to uncover digital influencers/ Professional / consumer advocates who love the brand or who would be a brand fit.
  • Execute paid content and partnerships, from project kickoff, to outreach/talent identification, to negotiation, to agreement execution to services execution. Must be comfortable liaising with agency partners, talent management, and legal.
  • Support event execution secure influencers for key brand events and gatherings
  • Liaise with internal teams to share key learnings and collateral opportunities; Help ensure regional efforts align with global strategy.
  • Stay on the cutting-edge of digital/social trends, including monitoring competitors and innovative non-beauty verticals such as entertainment. Proactively monitor influencer activity across social to report on trends, content and collaborations to get ahead of the next “big idea.” Contribute to team brainstorms and campaign ideation.
  • Monitor metrics on a daily basis via digital listening dashboards (e.g., Aspire) to evaluate program effectiveness against brand KPIs; synthesize learnings to adapt and optimize programs and best practices for most impact in formal reports and in real-time.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrate enthusiastic proactive “can-do” attitude and is a team player
  • Ability to interface with many departments, senior management, vendors, and agencies
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with project and campaign management
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, and strong creative judgement to recognize what is on brand and on trend
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to interpret data for real-time optimization; knowledge of key social media. Understanding of paid media/social advertising a plus.
  • Digitally savvy and curious, passionate about pop culture and social, enthusiastic about forging relationships with influencers and tastemakers
  • 3-4 years’ experience in talent management, influencer management/relations or social media.
  • Have established relationships with influencers in beauty/health/wellness or related industries.
  • Deep understanding and passion for influencer landscape and social media trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively across all levels of business, both internally and externally.
  • Beauty experience a plus.
