Our client's UX team is seeking a solid INFORMATION ARCHITECT with 5-10 yrs of experience to join them for a long term contract. This person will design the flow of the ux for their websites. The perfect candidate will have a background in Information Architecture, Interaction Design, User Interface Design, User Research, and Usability Engineering. They will know how to align business strategies and requirements with established industry standards and methodologies. This role is responsible for enhancing the findability and overall UX for multiple websites and mobile apps.

Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Create Information architecture, wireframe design and apply patterns to new features brought in by research.
  • Work with little supervision on multiple projects.
  • Develop effective interactive design solutions to meet business, project & design goals following standards and guidelines.
  • Define website and app navigation and key user flows.
  • Work well with other teams and colleagues (research, creative, tech, product mgt, marketing, production) to deliver website and feature development.
  • Create IA and UX documentation and contribute to the development of processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with content strategy to define content groupings.
  • Partner with specialists to define and enhance metadata, search, and personalization.
  • Define research requirements to support IA activities and partner with the User Research team to carry out studies that generate the needed data.
  • Create key deliverables such as sitemaps, user flows, and navigation wireframes to communicate and document the IA.


  • 5-10 years experience as IA/UX
  • BA in information science, psychology, HCI, interaction design or related
  • Experience with defining website and/or app structure, navigation and userflows
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with requirements analysis and user research methods.


  • Masters in Information Science, psychology, HCI, interaction design, or related field
  • Healthcare or financial services industry experience.
  • Experience designing for responsive web and native mobile apps.
  • Experience with interaction design.
  • Experience working in a large enterprise or similarly complex environment.
  • Skilled with conceptual sketching and workshop facilitation.
