Onward Search needs a freelance Information Security Analyst for a leading index provider and data source of independent credit ratings.

As a Information Security Analyst you’ll: 

• Be responsible for planning and implementing security measures to protect the client's computer systems, networks, and data.
• You will also be responsible for developing plans to safeguard confidential data and for communicating with users about data access needs, security violations and exceptions.
• Review violations of cyber security processes, procedures, antivirus, and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) concepts.

Skills & Experience Needed:  

• Must have a completed Professional Certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• Experience in design and development of security architecture for security domains, software design, networking, or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience securing a public cloud environment (preferably AWS), building software utilizing a public cloud.
• Experience with application security, penetration testing, vulnerability management, offensive and/or defensive security techniques.
