Our client, a Hospital & Healthcare Company, is seeking an Information Security Manager to join them for a Contract-to-PERM hire engagement based in the Northwest DC Area. This position will be a hybrid onsite/remote role so you should be local.
This role is involved in hands on implementation, configuration and maintenance of various security tools. The Info Sec Manager should have familiarity with a wide range of security products, and can develop, coach, and motivate a team of Information Security Analysts to operate those security tools and document Standard Operating Procedures.
The ISM is responsible for safeguarding MFA digital assets; maintain and build information security services with a customer service mind set; and review and resolve security events appropriately.
- CISSP, CISA, CISM or Security+ preferred
- Understands and experience with enterprise security operations
- Experienced in hands-on implementation, operation and maintenance of various security tools
- Ability to complete security assessments and projects independently
- Familiar with NIST cyber security standards
- Change management experience preferred
- VMware technologies like Horizon VDI, RDSH
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Electronic Health Record-related applications- specifically Allscripts
- Experiences with IDS/IPS, AV, DLP, MDM, CASB products
