Information Systems Engineer- Collaboration Systems

Our client, a video game company, is seeking an Information Systems Engineer to join the team.

As an Application Engineer (Collaboration Platforms), you will report to a Manager, Information Technology in Los Angeles, California. You will join a multi-functional team collaborating to administer, operate and support numerous Collaboration Platforms.

Your role will be to operate several Collaboration Platforms that help deliver amazing experiences to Players. You will achieve this by working with skilled and passionate teammates, as well as our trusted partners inside and outside. 

Responsibilities:

• Operate and support several Software as a Service (SaaS) Collaboration Platforms 
• Resolve elevated support requests
• Identify and document new support categories so they can be then be implemented in our service portal
• Identify and document opportunities to automate support requests
• Define and capture usage statistics for each Collaboration Platform
• Review usage for each Collaboration Platform and deactivate stale accounts in order to right-size our subscription and investment
• Define Data Retention Policies for each Collaboration Platform in order to periodically delete outdated content
• Build and maintain value-added relationships with software vendors in order to maximize the value we get from each Collaboration Platform
• Stay on top of Product Roadmaps in order to proactively communicate meaningful changes to stakeholders
• Review requests for new Collaboration Platforms or add-ons and integrations for existing Collaboration Platforms
• Streamline the process for new Collaboration Platforms or add-ons and integrations
• Participate in portfolio rationalization initiatives in order to decommission similar - Collaboration Platforms

Required Qualifications: 

• 3 to 5 years experience in managing Collaboration Platforms
• Excellent English language skills: you are comfortable presenting to large audiences and excel at writing in-depth application how-tos, documenting processes, and producing user-facing documentation
• Experience working in IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
• Proficiency with operating and supporting several Collaboration Platforms, at the scale of several thousand users 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; Information Science, or equivalent work experience
• Experience building specifications for support requests in ServiceNow, including forms and workflows
• Experience working with directory services such as Active Directory
• ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent knowledge of core IT Service Management concepts
• Proficiency in several of the following Collaboration Platforms: Aha, Airtable, Asana, LucidSuite, Miro, Notion, ProductBoard, Smartsheets, Trello, TeamRetro.

Pay: $42 - $52 hourly
