Our client, a financial technology company, is looking for an Instructional Designer to join their team in Allen, TX. This is a long-term contract. Benefits available during the contract period.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and developing training programs for all programs and levels.
  • Developing internal training using a variety of media including instructor-led and computer-based.
  • Interacting with internal stakeholders to understand training needs and measure outcomes.
  • Maintaining version control on all pertinent documents.
  • Designing templates to organize the look and feel of company training programs.
  • Participating in the testing of online courses to ensure they operate and are tracked correctly.
  • Producing and verifying status reports and escalating identified issues to appropriate project stakeholders as needed.
  • Analyzing training needs to develop new training programs or modifying and improving existing programs.
  • Complying with all security and confidentiality regulations as outlined by the company.

Instructional Designer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with up to 4 years of instructional design and development experience required.
  • Knowledge and skill with multimedia software (e.g. Adobe Tools or Articulate) or other simulation software.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience using the LMS system.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge in adult learning techniques and other training best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
